Sensory-friendly hold-up cards

Built to be shown, not decorated. No patterns, no extra words on the face, no red alarms. A pictogram so the card still works if reading is hard.

The pack

Tap a card. Soft field if the room is already loud. Strong field if someone needs to read it from across the room.

Soft is gentler on the eyes. Strong is easier to read across a room.

  • One idea per card. If you need two things, show two cards.
  • Believe the card. Do not demand a speech after it.
  • For children, these also live in Kids. Hold-up cards are low-tech AAC. For a core board and modeling: AAC.
